In celebration of #WomensHistoryMonth (March, 2022), and an effort to empower young women and girls gain access to digital education and upskill their careers, the Ntha Foundation and The Fifth Alley bring young African women a 3-day (23rd – 25th March, 2022) FREE workshop focusing on learning Social Media Branding, Marketing & Communications.

The 3-day workshop was implemented through Digital Skills For Africa, and was made available both online, and in-person.

Participants were able to attend in-person at the Kwathu Innovation & Creative Centre, or online.

The in-person trainings were a Digital Malawi Project initiative, supported by the Malawi Government, with funding from the World Bank through the Public Private Partnership Commission.

Digi Savvy Africa in partnership with The Fifth Alley trained women on the following topics: social media management, influencer marketing, personal branding, and media content creation.

Ntha Foundation established a partnership with For Equality to help out with the beneficiaries who were willing to participate in the workshop. The beneficiaries were provided with transport reimbursement, tea, and lunch on their days of attendance.
